Subnautica 2 Game Pass

Xbox Game Pass Ultimate subscribers can play Subnautica 2 on Xbox Series X|S and Windows PC at no additional cost. Game Pass Ultimate includes both console and PC access to the game library, so you can play Subnautica 2 on whichever platform you prefer.

PC Game Pass members also have day-one access to Subnautica 2 on Windows PC. If you are a PC Game Pass subscriber, you can download and play Subnautica 2 directly from the Xbox app or Microsoft Store on your PC without purchasing it separately.

Cloud gaming availability for Subnautica 2 on Game Pass Ultimate has not been explicitly confirmed at this time. We will update this page once cloud gaming support is confirmed or denied by Microsoft.

If you subscribe to Xbox Game Pass Ultimate or PC Game Pass, you do not need to purchase Subnautica 2 separately. Your subscription gives you access to play the game during Early Access and as it progresses through Game Preview. If you cancel your subscription, you will lose access to the game unless you purchase it separately.
